Established: Formed on the 5 th of April 1894 and played in various leagues (Mostly the NWFU) until they changed to the Burnie Hawks in 1987 to join the State-wide League.

Burnie Dockers 

Established: Established in 1994 when the Burnie Hawks and Burnie Tigers Football Clubs amalgamated as one in the State-wide League.  At the end of the 2000 State-wide League season all Clubs went back to local football with the Burnie Dockers joining the Northern Tasmanian Football League (NTFL).  Burnie rejoined the Tasmanian State League (TSL) from 2010 to 2017 with teams also in the NTFL in 2015 to 2016.  Burnie left the TSL at the end of the 2017 Season and joined the North West Football League of Tasmania (NWFL).
