2026 Senior Men Coach: Andy Lee

Andy has signed on for his 5th Year as Senior Coach for 2026

Lee was captain of the Tassy Mariners U 18 side in 2003 and 2004 and was ranked in the top 5 for the agility test at draft camp, which was an impressive effort for a taller, more solidly built player.

Lee was a tall forward from Burnie, Tasmania whose career at Windy Hill (Essendon) was dogged with injuries.

Lee was drafted to Essendon in 2005 in which he was placed on a long-term injury list with osteitis pubis. Lee finally made his Debut for Essendon in 2006 and played 5 games for the season.

Troubled with more injuries, sadly Andy did not play any more senior football with Essendon.

lee then moved to south Australia and played with Norwood and North Adelaide.

Andy returned back home to Burnie.

The Burnie Dockers are so fortunate to have the caliber of an ex-AFL player as our Senior Coach.

As you could imagine Andy brings plenty of Football knowledge, experience and professionalism to our Club.
